Came here to celebrate birthday. First of all, the environment is really beautiful and cozy. There’s quite a lot of variety of food available. We had set A which consist of green chicken curry, papaya salad, mix vegetables, grilled lamb, deep fried squids and mix seafood soup. The food was really good, slightly more on the sweet and sour than spicy. My personal favourite would be the grilled lamb and mix vege. Also had the appetiser platter which is good as well. Service is definitely very good and friendly, food arrived pretty quick. Price is definitely on the higher end but it’s worth it. Overall, really love this place and would recommend this place for high end Thai cuisine dining.

This is my truly honest review. Me and my friend just randomly stump into this restaurant. The ambience is so good upon entering. The food is truly mind blowing! They are so delicious and rich. The portion is huge for the reasonable price. The prawn is so fresh and huge. All these dishes are well cooked and well seasoned. We are utterly impressed and wont hesitate to recommend to my friends. Will definitely come again.

Excellent service by all staff members. The pineapple fried rice was a surprise. It was surprisingly huge in portion - catering for 2 people. A service staff member kindly noted that the portion was for 2 people while I ordered, but I proceeded to order 2 plates as the portion appeared to be for 1 person in the menu and in a TikTok video I watched. Turned out it was really huge in portion. Definitely not Uncle Roger's fried rice portion. The fried rice was very aromatic. It was a standout for me. The 2 prawns were tasty and huge. The cashew nuts and raisins gave this plate of rice much texture. In short, it was very appetizing for me. The crab meat omelette turned out surprisingly big as well. I had no expectation for this dish as I hadn't tried it before. Decent amount of crab meat. It was tasty with Thai chili source.

I actually ordered the green curry chicken and fried vegetables too, but was too busy enjoying the food and forgot to take photos. This is my third visit to Nok Yung and the food is still on point, though it’s admittedly quite pricey for Thai cuisine. All the dishes were great, but I found the fish slightly overcooked and the freshness could be improved. The service, however, was excellent. Will definitely revisit for the service and their tomyam!

Had a lovely dinner at Nok Yung, the Thai restaurant at Bamboo Hills. The ambiance is romantic—perfect for dates or special occasions. The lighting is really dim, which adds to the mood but might not be for everyone. The food was amazing—flavourful and well-prepared. Only one small issue: the rice was a bit too dry. Maybe they were using original Thai rice—hopefully next time it's cooked better. What truly made the experience memorable was the super friendly captain who greeted us warmly, checked in throughout the meal, helped take pictures, and was genuinely attentive to our needs. Great hospitality all around! Now... about the price—it's definitely on the expensive side, so be prepared. Would I return? Definitely. But next round… someone else’s treat please!

Had an authentic Thai lunch at Nok Yung Bamboo Hills this afternoon. Loved the warm ambience and friendly staff! The Tom Yum soup and Prawn Petai were especially good — full of flavour and perfectly balanced. Highly recommend for anyone craving genuine Thai food in a relaxing setting.
